What is Drywall?
- Drywall consists of manufactured gypsum plaster flat panels encased in heavy paper.
- Drywall is also known as Gypsum Wallboard (GWB), Plaster board, or Sheetrock.
- Drywall Panels are typically 4 X 8 FT, but can run up to 16 FT. They are usually 1/2 and 5/8 IN. thick.
- Drywall that is mold and moisture resistant is called Green or XP Board.
